COAs / Lab Documents

A COA (certificate of analysis) is a lab’s test report. Add one for each batch you sell, and shoppers can read the results and open the certificate on the product page.

Each row shows the document’s title, a summary of its results (like 99.4% purity), the Batch and product it covers, the Lab, the date Issued, and its Status.

  • View opens the uploaded certificate. Download saves it.
  • Open the lab’s copy follows the link to the lab’s own copy, if you added one.

Search by title, batch, product or lab, and filter by status. The newest documents are at the top.

Click Add document. You can attach a certificate to a lot or to a whole product.

Field Notes
Batch The lot this certificate covers. Pick No batch (whole product) if it covers the product rather than one lot.
Product Only shown when you pick no batch.
Title Required. What the document covers, in the lab’s words.
Lab, Issued on Optional.
Certificate file A PDF, PNG or JPEG, up to 15 MB.
Document link Only if the lab hosts its own copy. An https:// link, or a path on your site starting with /.
Status See below. New documents start as Received.
Notes Internal only.

Copy these from the certificate exactly as the lab reported them. Shoppers see them once the certificate is Active.

Field Notes
Purity (%) A number, like 99.4. You can start it with <, >, ≥ or ≤.
Tested on The test date.
Labeled content What the vial says, like 10 mg.
Actual content What the lab measured.
Result lines Up to 30. Each has a name (like Identity), a value, and an outcome: Reading, Pass or Fail.
Status Shown to shoppers? Use it for
Received No You have it, but it isn’t ready to show.
Active Yes Current. Shown on the product page.
Withdrawn No No longer valid. The record is kept but hidden, and its file link stops working.

On the product page, a Certificate of analysis section shows every Active certificate for that product, newest first. The newest is tagged Latest.

Each certificate card shows:

  • purity, and whether it passed its checks,
  • the size, lot number, labeled and actual content, and test date,
  • the full list of results, marked pass or fail,
  • View the certificate, which opens your uploaded file, or the lab’s link if there’s no file.

When a shopper picks a size, they see the certificates for that size’s batches and any whole-product certificates. If no batch of that size has been tested yet, they see the other sizes’ certificates, with a note saying so.

Shoppers never see your notes, the lot’s quantity or dates, or certificates that are Received or Withdrawn.

Research-peptide stores need a lot-specific COA for every active product before they can go live. For each product, Lattice looks for an Active certificate, attached to a lot, with an uploaded file or a link.

  • A certificate with no lot counts only partly.
  • If a product’s only certificates are images, it counts only partly. Upload the lab’s PDF.

See the setup wizard’s compliance checklist.

Click Delete and confirm. It’s removed right away. To hide a certificate but keep its record, set it to Withdrawn instead.
