Going live
A new store starts as a draft. Two things have to happen before it can go live:
- Lattice approves your business. You ask for this by submitting the setup wizard.
- You switch the store live. You do this, whenever you’re ready.
Approval is for your whole organization. Going live is done one store at a time.
Draft vs. active
Section titled “Draft vs. active”| Draft | Active | |
|---|---|---|
| Shoppers can visit | No — they see This store isn’t open yet | Yes |
| Shoppers can check out | No | Yes |
| Your team can preview it | Yes | Yes |
Draft is closed on every address the store has: its shops.latticeone.ai address and any custom
domain.
Previewing a draft store
Section titled “Previewing a draft store”Use Preview store in your dashboard to see your storefront before it’s open. The preview link works only for your own store and expires after a short time. A banner shows you’re in preview, and checkout is turned off — no one can place an order on a store that isn’t active, preview or not.
Approval
Section titled “Approval”After you click Submit for review, Lattice staff check your business details and documents.
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| With Lattice for review | Your details are with Lattice. You can keep working on your store. |
| Lattice asked for changes | Lattice needs something fixed. Their note says what. Fix it and submit again. |
| Go live button on the last wizard step | You’re approved. |
Lattice emails you either way:
- “[Your business] is approved” — you can switch your store live whenever you’re ready.
- “Lattice needs changes to [your business]” — with the reviewer’s note and a link to your setup. Reply to the email to reach the reviewer.
Switching your store live
Section titled “Switching your store live”You can go live from either place:
- the Go live button on the last step of the setup wizard, or
- Settings → Store → Store status, set to Active.
When you do, Lattice checks every required setup step again at that moment. If something has changed since you finished it — say you turned off your only shipping method — you’ll see what to fix first.
Pausing a store
Section titled “Pausing a store”To stop trading, set Settings → Store → Store status to Draft. Shoppers then see This store isn’t open yet, and checkout stops. You can always pause; it doesn’t need Lattice. Switching back to Active runs the same checks as going live the first time.
Adding a store after you’re approved
Section titled “Adding a store after you’re approved”Your approval covers what your business sold when Lattice reviewed it.
- A new store that sells the same kind of product can go live without another review.
- A new store that sells something different — for example, research peptides when you were approved for supplements — has to wait. Message Lattice so staff can confirm it. It can go live once they do.
You set what a store sells in Store basics (wizard step 1) or under Settings → Store.
When Lattice steps in
Section titled “When Lattice steps in”Changes requested after approval
Section titled “Changes requested after approval”If Lattice asks for changes after you’ve been approved, any live stores are paused. The email tells you, and your stores stay offline until Lattice approves your business again.
Storefront disabled
Section titled “Storefront disabled”Lattice can disable a storefront while a compliance issue is fixed. When that happens:
- shoppers see that the store is unavailable, on every page,
- Settings shows Lattice has disabled this storefront instead of the status control,
- you can’t switch it live or pause it yourself.
Check Requests for what needs fixing. Lattice turns the store back on once it’s resolved.
