Products
Products is your store’s catalog. Each store has its own.
The product list
Section titled “The product list”Each row shows the product’s image, Product name and subtitle, SKU, Price, Status and Stock. Click Product, SKU, Price or Status to sort.
- Price shows a range, like $49.00 – $89.00, when sizes have different prices, plus how many sizes there are. A compare-at price shows struck through.
- Stock shows Out of stock, In stock, or a number on hand, like 12 on hand. See Inventory.
Search by name, subtitle, SKU or slug, and filter by Active or Draft.
To delete several products at once, tick them and click Delete selected.
Adding a product
Section titled “Adding a product”Click Add product. The panel has these fields.
Product information
Section titled “Product information”| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Product name | Required. |
| Subtitle | Shown under the name on the storefront. |
Product details
Section titled “Product details”| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Slug | The product’s web address. Made from the name if you leave it blank. |
| SKU | Made from the slug if you leave it blank. If it’s already taken, Lattice adds a number to make it unique. |
| Price (USD) | Required. Like 49.99. |
| Compare-at price | Optional. When it’s higher than the price, the storefront shows the product as on sale. |
| Shipping weight | One unit, packed, in mg, g, kg, oz or lb. Carrier rates at checkout use it. If you leave it blank, it counts as one pound. |
| Image | Choose one from your Media library, upload a new one (JPEG, PNG, WebP or AVIF, up to 10 MB), or paste an https:// link. One image per product. |
| Status | Active shows it on your storefront. Draft saves it but keeps it hidden. New products start as Active. |
| Category | What the storefront groups it under, like Peptides. Type any name. Leave it blank to leave it ungrouped. |
Inventory
Section titled “Inventory”| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Availability | In stock or Out of stock. |
| Quantity on hand | How many you have. |
| Show quantity on the storefront | Show shoppers the number, or just In stock. |
Click Save. If anything goes wrong, nothing you had before is changed.
Leave sizes empty if a product sells one way. Add sizes, like 10 mg and 20 mg, and each one gets its own price and stock. The price and stock above then stop being what shoppers see.
Click Add a size and fill in:
- Size — a number and a unit (mg, mcg, g, IU, mL, capsules, vials and more, or type your own).
- Price (USD) — required.
- Compare-at — optional.
- SKU — made from the product SKU and size if left blank, like
BPC-157-10MG. - Quantity and Availability.
A product can have up to 24 sizes.
How sizes show up:
- The list and storefront show the lowest price, as a range if sizes differ.
- The product counts as in stock while any size is.
- On the storefront, the first size in your list is picked by default, so put your main size first.
You can’t remove a size that a batch or kit uses. Move or remove those first, or keep the size and mark it out of stock.
A kit is a product made of other products, like a starter bundle. Under What is inside, click Add something to this kit, then pick a Product, a Size and How many.
- A kit can have up to 40 lines.
- A kit can’t contain itself or another kit.
- Selling a kit takes stock from each item inside it.
- Remove every line and it’s an ordinary product again.
Batches and history
Section titled “Batches and history”Once a product is saved, its panel also shows:
- Batches and certificates — the lots and COAs recorded against it.
- History — every saved version. You can restore an earlier one.
Spreadsheet import and export
Section titled “Spreadsheet import and export”Edit your whole catalog in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
- Click Download spreadsheet. You get an
.xlsxfile with the right headings and your current products. - Edit it. A product with sizes has one row per size.
- Click Upload spreadsheet, choose the file and click Check this file. Nothing is saved yet. You’ll see what would be added and updated, and any rows with problems.
- Click Apply these changes.
| Column | Notes |
|---|---|
| Product name | Required. |
| SKU | Required. Matches rows to your products. |
| Size, Size SKU | For products with sizes. Give every row of a product a size, or none. |
| Price, Compare at | Numbers. Price is required. |
| Quantity, In stock | Leave Quantity blank to keep the current stock. |
| Category, Subtitle, Image URL, Slug | Optional. Slug is only used for new products. |
| Active | Yes or no. |
Rows are matched by SKU. A SKU you already have is updated. A new SKU is added as a draft, whatever the Active column says, so you can check it before it goes live.
Rows with problems are skipped and listed by row number. Everything else goes through. The file must be
.xlsx, up to 5 MB, and only the first sheet is read.
Weight and kits aren’t in the spreadsheet. Edit those in the product panel.
Starting from a template
Section titled “Starting from a template”On an empty Products page, owners and admins see Start from a template. It adds a starter catalog of draft products at $0 with their sizes, and switches your storefront to the template’s theme. Set prices before you make them active.
A template can only fill an empty catalog.
Deleting a product
Section titled “Deleting a product”Click Delete and confirm. It’s removed right away and can’t be undone. The product also leaves shoppers’ baskets and any kits it was in. Orders already placed keep their copy.
You can’t delete a product that has batches recorded against it. Delete those first, or set the product to Draft to take it off your storefront.
